Ilm-ul Aadaad is nothing without the use of ilm-ul-huroof, The ilm-ul-Huroof is a science of letters and its basic structure comes by Abjad-e-Qamri where each hurf has its own respective value,This is where we should seek numeric value of holy names, our own names and need to understand the types of Huroof.
The main thing is, you must need to calculate your names in your country language (mother language), i found Chinese has a different calculation , Pakistanis and Indians also uses different alphabets according to their language letters, we personally use Arabic and Urdu to calculate our names, so any name what you calculated according to Pythagoras or Chaldean numerology calculation method can not be use for Arabic & Urdu names, You must need to use Abjad-e-Qamri to calculate your Urdu or Arabic names.

see the differences here.

This is Pythagoras calculation method in English Alphabets: Now if i will calculate the name of ALI it will be

A L I
1 3 9

1+3+9= 13
THE 13 WILL STILL NEEDS TO BE REDUCE AND MAKE ONE DIGIT.
1+3=4

NOW LETS CALCULATE THE NAME ALI BY ABJAD-E-QAMRI The above mentioned chart represent Abjad-e-Qamri table, where each hurf has its numeric value.

in name Ali, when we will write in Urdu or Arabic it will be:

علی

Three huroof are in name علی

ع  ل ی

lets calculate it: Now this has been cleared the number will be different when we will calculate the name ALI in Pythagoras calculation method by using english alphabets, But the number changed when we calculate the same name into our language by using Abjad-e-Qamri.

By English alphabets its was 7
